Buddhist Palm has had a lifelong passion for music and first discovered drum & bass as a young teenager in the late nineties era. Then, after attending a Metalheadz all-nighter in 2004, he fell in love with the rave scene and quickly became a regular at many of the major club nights in London and beyond.
From raving several nights a week, he began helping out with promotion for Movement, the longest-running weekly drum & bass night at the time, established by V Recording’s label boss Bryan Gee. Watching and often meeting top DJs every week inspired him to further his own passion for mixing, as well as collecting all the vinyl he could get his hands on.
Playing sets of his own soon followed, and over the years Buddhist Palm has been privileged to feature on line-ups alongside Chase & Status, DC Breaks, Kenny Ken, Mickey Finn, Ray Keith, Brockie, Jumpin Jack Frost, Serial Killaz, Nicky Blackmarket and many more. As well as jungle and drum & bass, he also spins hip-hop and breakbeat, appearing at club nights under the name Buddha Breaks.
Buddhist Palm has also appeared on a number of radio stations including Manic FM, Dusk FM, Nasty FM and Crystal FM, before joining the Divine Radio team in January 2019.
